Local MP visits UCTC sixth form

Charles Hendry MP visited UCTC recently to meet students of Law, Politics and Sociology to answer questions on a range of contemporary issues.

He was warmly welcomed by would-be voters. Explaining the roles and responsibilities of his post as MP for The Weald, Charles engaged with the students on issues as diverse as Fox Hunting, Taxation, MPs’ expenses, Energy policy and the voting age.
